The 2026 Zeekr X is getting an upgrade that could make it a more attractive option for Australian buyers. With a powerful 250kW single-motor rear-wheel drive and 365kW dual-motor all-wheel drive, this small premium electric SUV is set to gain attention. The updated model boasts a 50kW power boost, with torque figures of 373Nm for the rear-drive variant and 573Nm for the all-wheel drive, both increased by 30Nm. This enhanced performance allows the X RWD to maintain its 0-100km/h sprint time of 5.6 seconds, while the AWD version is now slightly quicker at 3.69 seconds, down from 3.8 seconds. The updated Zeekr X features a new Seattle Green exterior and black, black, white, and black and orange interior color options, along with a 14.6-inch touchscreen infotainment system running Zeekr's latest operating system (5.5). Despite its late 2025 launch, the larger 7X model outsold the X by almost two-to-one last year, with 1206 units compared to 665. The X's Volvo EX30 cousin also outperformed it, with 1281 sales. As a Geely brand, Zeekr joins the likes of Volvo, Polestar, and Smart. The X and the 009 electric people mover were Zeekr's initial offerings in Australia. With these upgrades, the 2026 Zeekr X is poised to make a strong case for itself in the competitive Australian market.
