In December, Elite Venue Selection, the management company behind the hotel, confirmed its plans to reopen as a four-star establishment with a brand-new look. Interestingly, previous communications from hotel management did not acknowledge its history as a migrant accommodation facility, despite the widespread awareness among locals.

It provided emergency shelter to individuals and families seeking refuge during a particularly challenging time for the hospitality sector. This decision was made when operating as a public hotel wasn’t financially viable, allowing the property to remain functional and ensuring essential maintenance could continue.
The current renovations symbolize a definitive shift away from that chapter. Our choice to reopen and rebrand the hotel represents our commitment to progress, reinvesting in the local area, and restoring the hotel as a valued asset in the community.
